Introducing OneSchema Pipelines

Let non-technical team members map, transform, and ingest CSV files via SFTP, API, or email without needing to write a single line of code.

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our newest product: OneSchema Pipelines.

OneSchema’s core product is an embeddable CSV importer that allows your engineering team to launch a best-in-class data import experience without the engineering headaches. The #1 feature request we got from our customers was that they loved the seamless upload experience, but wanted to be able to save the steps towards cleaning a file for future uploads received at an SFTP endpoint or via API.

Today, engineering teams have to write custom scripts to transform CSV data received by customers into consistent formats. This posed a massive problem for our customers, who ended up staffing large engineering teams to do nothing but build SFTP integrations and handle error-prone CSV files.

Enter OneSchema Pipelines

Leveraging our powerful spreadsheet interface, non-technical team members (account managers, operations) can onboard and integrate with your customers’ complex data feeds without engineers getting involved.

We’ve helped our customers reduce customer onboarding times from months to just days by getting engineering out of CSV integrations. Any member of your team can build and maintain recurring CSV pipelines just by cleaning a starter file. OneSchema’s validations will highlight the errors and suggest the fixes. Our pipeline builder will save the mappings and transformations to create a data pipeline that comes with reporting, monitoring, and audit logging capabilities out of the box.

Let’s take a closer look at OneSchema Pipelines:

Using OneSchema's no-code mapping block, it's extremely easy to save and edit the column mappings that will be run on every subsequent pipeline run.
Just by cleaning the file directly from the spreadsheet, it's easy to add transform blocks to the pipeline in just a few clicks and save them for future runs.
To fix remaining issues, our no code transformation library includes a variety of out of the box transform blocks (e.g. find and replace, split columns, merge columns) and intelligent formatting fixers.

Use cases

  • Engineering and data teams use OneSchema so they can stop writing and maintaining custom integration scripts for every new customer during onboarding. Repositories of hundreds of custom scripts don’t scale, and OneSchema comes built in with reporting and observability features that teams won’t invest the time in to build themselves.
  • Implementation and operations teams use OneSchema to expedite onboardings blocked on engineering. Aligning on the right mappings is hard and requires a lot of back and forth with the customer. The process can take months given the engineering team’s other roadmap priorities or being located in different time zones. With OneSchema, the implementation team is empowered to build pipelines with the customer directly, reducing onboarding times to days, not months.
