Our commitment
OneSchema is committed to making our product accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, Level AA.
This statement covers our Importer product only. Accessibility information for our products (Importer, FileFeeds, and Workspaces) is documented in our Accessibility Conformance Report (VPAT/ACR).
Standards we follow
We strive to meet:
- WCAG 2.2 Level AA success criteria
- U.S. Section 508 requirements where applicable
- Best practices for semantic HTML, ARIA, color contrast, and keyboard navigation
What we're doing
To maintain and improve accessibility, we:
- Use semantic HTML and ARIA only where necessary
- Ensure content is usable with a keyboard and with screen readers
- Maintain color contrast of at least 4.5:1 for text and 3:1 for large text and UI components
- Provide text alternatives for non‑text content and avoid text embedded in images
- Preserve visible focus indicators and a logical tab order
- Provide a “Skip to main content” link on pages
- Avoid content that flashes or auto‑plays; videos include captions
- Test new designs/components with automated tooling (e.g., axe) and manual assistive technology checks
- Review regressions as part of our QA process before publishing
Conformance status (OneSchema Importer)
Based on internal testing as of August 11, 2025, OneSchema Importer is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA for end users. Partially conformant means some parts of the content do not fully conform. We are working through the following known issues:
- Occasional missing or redundant alt text on decorative SVGs and iconography
- Inconsistent focus styling on a few legacy buttons/links
- Isolated instances of insufficient color contrast in older blog imagery
- Some embedded third‑party widgets may not fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA; we are engaging vendors and providing alternatives where feasible
If you encounter an accessibility issue that blocks you, please contact us at support@oneschema.co. We’ll prioritize fixes to remove blockers quickly.
Browser and assistive technology support
We aim to support:
- Desktop: Latest two versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge on macOS and Windows
- Screen readers: NVDA with Firefox/Chrome, JAWS with Chrome/Edge, VoiceOver with Safari (macOS)
- Mobile: Importer is optimized for desktop use only. Many features work on mobile devices, though some may have limited functionality.
Older browsers and assistive technologies may still work, but we do not actively test them.
Third-party content
Our site may include links to or embeds from third‑party services (e.g., forms, video, analytics). While we select vendors that take accessibility seriously, some controls may not yet meet our standards. When issues are identified, we request remediation and, when possible, provide an accessible alternative.
